| For 35 years, Bay State Anesthesia has been committed to bringing emerging medical technologies and superior technical service to Anesthesia departments all over New England. Over the years, we have broadened our expertise into the clinical specialties of Respiratory Therapy, Emergency, Endoscopy and the Critical Care areas of the hospital, including NICU and PICU.
At BSA, we seek out and partner with manufacturers whose devices reduce risk in the environment of care, thereby improving patient outcomes and reducing the enormous costs associated with patient morbidity and mortality. We believe in products that can help our customers save money—but more important, we are 100% vested in the idea that our products can save lives and reduce medical errors.
All our sales personnel are accomplished clinicians with years of experience in the adult, pediatric and neonatal hospital settings. Most held department head positions before transitioning very successfully to sales and clinical specialist careers. This experience uniquely qualifies them to successfully advocate for and implement the latest technological advances.
Our service department technicians have over 75 years of experience between them, almost exclusively in the anesthesia machine market. We warehouse the largest inventory of anesthesia machine parts in the Northeast.
Our N.I.T.C. certified technician performs inspections and certifications of medical gas systems, as well as environmental analysis. Our state of the art testing technology provides real time data, allowing for complete on-site certification or immediate corrective action, if necessary. This insures rapid completion of reports and certifications, enabling critical construction and inspection deadlines to be met.
Our relationship with our customers is based on trust and a mutual commitment to helping others. Our highly skilled team is dedicated to meeting the needs of our customers and manufacturers, while achieving efficiency, economy, excellence and credibility along the way.
We value the respect of our customers, which we have earned through quality products and services, education, training, communication, responsibility, rapid response times and personal involvement. All our employees take great pride in the working relationships they have established, and BSA is as committed to our outstanding team of professionals as we are to our customers.
Most importantly, we wish to provide value to both our hospital customers and the manufacturers we represent by continuing to establish new standards of care in the areas that we serve. Some of the concepts we have successfully brought to standard of care in the New England market include pulse oximetry, patient warming, capnography, central venous catheterization, and other monitoring parameters. We recognize that our reputation is at stake every time we endorse a product to a customer, because if the product doesn’t live up to every expectation, neither do we.
