The medical gas verifier certifies the installation of new medical gas system components such as medical air compressors, medical-surgical vacuum pumps, medical gas manifolds, medical gas alarm panels, valves, and station outlets/inlets. The verifier also conducts annual inspections and safety surveys of existing medical gas systems in health care facilities. The medical gas verifier provides permanent records of all testing to the contracting agency and to the authority having jurisdiction.
